Dr. Rowen graduated as a Science Scholar with a B.Sc. from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, Canada in 2009. She earned her M.D. with Highest Honours from Ross University in 2013. Dr. Rowen completed her General Surgery Residency at AdventHealth Orlando in 2019, where she was awarded the prestigious Gold Humanism Award for her compassionate patient care. Following her residency, she pursued a colorectal surgery fellowship at St. Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, which she completed in 2020.

Dr. Rowen joined Alaska Colorectal Surgery later that same year, bringing expertise and a patient-centered approach to her practice.
